This project with figurative artworks started to take shape during the post-pandemic and pre-war period in Europe, spanning from October 2021 to February 2022 depicted a significant shift in the social atmosphere. Fatigue from two years of pandemic made everyone to congregate again, attend public events and parties when restrictions were eased. While the world was celebrating, tensions at the Ukraine-Russia border began to escalate.

Taras returned to this project in 2023, as the political landscape in Europe and the United States began to resemble a three-ring circus, characterised by obscene or absurd statements, detached from reality decisions, and the rise of right-wing authoritarian leaders. Meanwhile, russia continued to reveal its true intentions, threatening the entire world with nuclear war. The escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian war, with massive civilian casualties, further intensified the situation. This turmoil even led some right-wing politicians to express fatigue over the war in Ukraine, which is absurd given Ukraine’s crucial role in defending our freedom and the democratic values that the West has built over decades. The world is on edge, facing high tensions and emotional instability, which can easily lead to unpredictable outcomes.

The lastest series of these works capture the themes mentioned above, showing signs of heightened emotional state, denial, manic episods, mischievous, elements of a bipolar personality and potential breakdown in the actions and expressions of the characters.
