Piece Peace Peas: pisssssssssss

This exhibition emerged as an urgent response to the ongoing “peace agreement” negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, mediated by Trump. The conversation extended to Hungary’s stakes on the war and its unchanging government, while also reflecting on the everyday life of the Józsefváros community.

The title Piece Peace Peas originates from Taras’s 2022 artwork What Does Hungary Want?, created in reaction to Hungarian politics. In this artwork, the words Piece, Peace, and Peas were inscribed on the Hungarian flag –Piece on the red stripe, Peace on the white, and Peas on the green.
